    Lets talk curries...

This is a typical spice blend for the more expensive restuarants Imperial tablespoons(15ml) are used, not australian tablespoons(20ml) 10 tablespoons coriander seeds 2 tablespoons channa dal 2 tablespoons urad dal 2 tablespoons sesame seeds 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds 1 tablespoon white poppy seeds 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds 1 tablespoon white peppercorns 1/2 tablespoon green cardamom seeds 1 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon whole cloves 1 teaspoon celery seeds Dry roast in a pan on medium heat for a few minutes without burning, then grind to a powder Then mix with the following powders 4 tablespoons of turmeric powder 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika 2 teaspoons of garlic powder 2 teaspoons of ginger powder 1 teaspoon of medium chilli powder 1 teaspoon of asafoetida (hing) 1 teaspoon of amchur (mango) powder 32 dried powdered curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Nah mate i can assure you that aussies would love it because i nkow from experience As long as they order the correct curry instead of a vindaloo for example they would be better ordering a madras as it's almost identical but with less chilli Also a chicken tikka masala(sweet) instead of a butter chicken

    Lets talk curries...

your spot on there it's ridiculous when people say it's made for aussie taste because i know for a fact the british ones are better because i know many many aussies who go there and ALL of them say so I also know how to make them, and it literally blows every one away, a kiwi guy i know doesn't like curry (so he thought) until i made one exactly like you get in a british curry house The curries have evolved in britain for decades longer than in oz so it's only logical that they r going to be better, maybe one day they be just as good here

Are aussie men really more macho?

I see bulked up blokes down my gym usually waxed too, but they really are pussycats underneath the exterior, not one of them is even interested in hitting the bag It would really embarrassing to be that built up and get knocked out by someone much smaller

Are aussie men really more macho?

Yeah but i'm not talking about people making money fighting, a lot of english men at least compared to here seem to have a toughness about them when it comes to not being scared to get beaten up, and they aren't necessarily poor or miserable either It's also easier to make money doing other sports anyway, u have to be damn good to make money boxing

I can see what you mean but i reckon later generations are different

Are aussie men really more macho?

I often hear this, but i'm not so sure because i suppose it depends on what you consider macho, and from my 16 years in oz aussie men actually seem to think the opposite I can see that aussie men seem less likely to express emotions and seem less in touch with their feminine side kind of, and engage in more sports, but from my experience english men are much more "up for it" (as in i want to smash ur face in), and i have come across even little teenage boys in uk that would be totally willing and fearless about squaring up to me, whereas here they wouldn't even think about it I've also felt genuinely intimidated by blokes in uk even tho i can handle myself but here i sometimes get the sense that i intimidate blokes here occasionally, and have been told that when i use profanities with my cockney accent it sounds really aggressive and intimidating compared to even a proper bogan Another thing i have noticed is pommy blokes use very crude sexual humour around women (and the girls do it too a bit), but here they seem cautious about doing it as if they are scared of looking immature, stupid or offending someone So my opinion is that it is outdated bullshit Comments?

    Greatest Boxer of all time.

Just realised i replied to the wrong post - i was talking about Marciano

    Greatest Boxer of all time.

I think at his peak he was the best No one could touch him he just made everyone look bad except Bernhard Hopkins (a very underated middleweight who i think was slightly better than hagler) Jones wasn't only near impossible to hit but had awesome power as well, the most outrageous knockout i've seen was by jones when he ko'd montell griffin with a leaping left uppercut from out of range

    Greatest Boxer of all time.

I have to say no way! he wasn't in the toughest era and looking at his videos it's clear i think that he would struggle against some later heavyweights You can't just go by records

Buy british restuarant curry in sydney

I'm not sure if i can do this on here because of spam (i looked for forum rules but can't find it), but anyway i've been making them for 3 years now and everyone tells me i should sell them, and as i've not had full time work for a year now i decided enough is enough and i'm going to try it out Most that have tried them so far have been aussies at my part time job, and aussie/south african relatives that haven't had british curries before, and it blew them away a guy at work told me he's never had anything close to it anywhere, the boss at work was sceptical when i told her the curries are way superior to any restuarant in sydney because she said she's been taught recipes by indians so i gave her a vindaloo and now she's begging me make her another one I'm only going to do this part time though so there is a cap on how many i can cook every week, i can only cook on mondays Anyone here interested let me know on here or PM me for more details
