<p>Hi Kate, Caroline started a job with Pearson Australia (the publishers) on Wednesday - a fantastic effort by her on finding a job so quick - she certainly wowed them at her interviews. My job search has been a little more challenging. Having an occupation on the CSL does mean there is more competition out there for each role that comes up. I have had a second interview with a real estate investment company but salary expectations (what I expect for my experience - and confirmed by the local agencies - and what they are prepared to pay are quite different). In fact the salary they want to pay me in AUD is not much more than the GBP salary I was being paid in the UK (about 30% less). I do expect to take a short term dip in salary due to the lack of Australian experience but c'mon........... Anyway a case of keep plugging at it, but also taking the opportunity to relax a bit too. I read your post re: your escapades over the holiday weekend - sounds like you all had great fun. Simon</p>

<p>Its great to have the two furkids back. They can't quite work out why we are living in a house with no furniture. They will need to get used to the idea that there won't always be this much room! Simon and Caroline x</p>
