You will not need to complete the Form 47A as this is for dependents over 18 years of age. I recommend though that you get your baby's birth certificate and passport as soon as possible.

when filling the partner visa application for out and adding a 3 week old baby does the 47A form need to be filled in too or is that for over 18 years dependants ?

I didn't know it was a temp child visa

she is a dependent child on my visa when I applied

she as a pr visa as she was a dependant child when I was awarded PR

I have just read on the visa site this statement : 17a People who apply for a Partner visa and who hold a Dependent Child visa (subclass 445) are eligible for a nil visa application charge.

does this mean it will be free ? thanks

As pp suggested you can apply for a partner visa once onshore, it just requires the applicant to leave Australia and re enter to validate the visa once it's granted, I think.

What visa would partner go on to oz initially

we have PR in oz but are back in uk our label says we need to return by june 2015 my daughter got married last month and wants to get the partner visa for him but this I hear is taking 10-14 months which would mean our visa label will have expired what can we do please ???

what if they applied on line is it quicker ?

if the partner and baby travelled to oz on a tourist visa an applied in oz would this make it easier ?
