<p>Hi Lee, I'm in tropical Queensland, not Melbourne, but my OH is from Bright, a couple of hours away from Melbourne which is a world mecca for paragliding, I think they do some rounds of the world champs there, I'm pretty sure they do it in the Dandenongs as well, get in contact with the Australian Hang Gliding and Paraglidig mob (I forget what their title is now as they cnaged it a few years back) and you'll find a few hot spots. Be prepared to travel towards the Alps a bit as with the major airports around Melbourne you're not going to be flying in the airspace at any time soon, but it is a pretty good place, better than up here anyway, we're pretty flat.</p>
