  1. Hi, we moved to the central coast just under two years ago and i am affraid it is harder with dogs, the only properties you can rent are the older style, what you need to do is go into the estate agents and rather then looking at the rental list or real estate, just ask them to point out any houses that would except a dog and you must say the dog lives outside then smuggle him in, this is the only way i am affraid, we wished we didnt bring the dogs but they were part of the family good luck

  2. Hi, just a thought for you that my sons NEVER wear trousers anymore and the kids like to fit in with others, even in winter they wear their shorts and a jumper, once you start earning the aussie dollar you will find things are not that expensive

  3. Hi do what makes you happy! We have been here 7 months and we love every day and couldn't imagine going back to England, I am not bigging us up,what I am trying to say is that it may not be for everyone, don't waste your life, do what will make you happy, what part of oz are you in, because I have been to a state and thought if I lived here I would want to go home, maybe the state is wrong for you, good luck x

  4. Hi, can you not try out a long break in the uk, so you don't need to 1- break up properly..yet! 2-regret everything if you went back to the uk, maybe you just need to test it all first before you decide, but make the time long enough to get over the novelty of being back, then see how you feel.

  5. Hi, we shipped 2 dogs 7months ago, if they have favourite toys you are better off putting them in your case rather then in your furniture crate because of customs, also you can attach to their crate but you have the chance of losing it, nothing is allowed in the crate, we were surprised that once in quarantine here we sent a couple of new toys and they were given to us at the end of the 30 days, good luck if you have any questions about any of it I wold be happy to help, I also brought a cat too

  6. Well that's good to hear! Time is dragging for us as we've been playing the waiting game for a while. We're still in Norfolk England for now - just east of Norwich. We plan to move June/July at the end of the school year.

The waiting game is horrible, our life was on hold for so long, but once you get here you will forget all about it, where are you looking at Living? I wouldn't worry too much about finishing the school year ( unless your child is in the final year of course) the school terms are all so different here and they go back a year too,

  7. Hi, you will probably find the best thing to do living on central coast will be to travel in to sydney, for the better jobs, you can get the train in from gosford, we live in terrigal and its beautiful and a 20 min drive to gosford station, definatly stay with relatives when you get here because the places you think you would like to live when your in England really are different when you get here, I don't want to upset anyone and give names but just look properly, good luck
