Wow, thank you for your speedy reply, can I ask how long ago that was? the sponsorship form asks about your current home which obviously is still in the UK although it does say to give further information at the end of the form if currently residing outside Australia. We will have accommodation with my brother when we first arrive so I suppose that could be declared? Do you think that would be adequate?? The last thing we want to do is sell the house apply for my visa for it to be turned down.... we'll end up with nothing!!
This is part of what the declaration says :(I've looked through the form and there is nowhere that mentions finance/work)
I agree:
• to provide information and advice to help the person(s) I am
sponsoring settle in Australia;
• to ensure that adequate accommodation is available to them on
arrival in Australia or, if necessary, to provide accommodation for up
to 2 years from arrival in Australia, or the 2 years following grant of
my partner’s visa if my partner is applying in Australia;
• to provide support as required to enable them to attend appropriate
English language courses;
• to attend an interview (if requested by the department) in relation to
my fiancé(e) or partner’s application;
