yes we have been in oz for 3 years but thought about buying a car over there in sept on a visit as they are much cheaper over there!!!LOL!! we thought there might be a 12 month ownership clause but was hoping that wasn't the case !

Hi can you help? is it possible to buy a car in the UK (say sept) and have it shipped to Australia? are there any laws against it ? and has anyone done it recently ? any feedback would be appreciated thank you Linda

Hi can you help? my son has got a job in oz and we are now waiting for him to go to the visa stage. however we have bought him a one way ticket to oz at easter . now my problem is that its a one way ticket. can we just get him a holiday visa? if not can we get him a working holiday visa or will this affect his application for a 457 visa? im not sure the 5 weeks he has left will be long enough to prepare his visa , get it lodged and finally approved. what can we do???? we are already here in oz would that help him. just dont want alot of hassle at heathrow and he be refused to board any help from anyone will be such a huge help! thanks Linda

<p>thankyou for your quick reply. we will be (if all goes well) going out on a 457 visa to perth area not sure where yet. my husband will be working for the RAC but hasnt been placed probably waiting on the medical 1st. I think a monitor will be the next step. </p>
