Hi we are looking to come out to Oz this December and need to change up over $150K. the rates are very bad sterling to Ozdollar, but exellent back the other way. I would change it up and then seek financial advice in the uk. I have been an advisor for 20 years over here but stopping to go to Oz. not sure if you want income or growth but there are rates of 6-8% pa.

I know it's a long shot but we are returning to Uk and feel the price to send it all back is crazy especially when we won't get it for 4 months.

 

We had the idea of possibly selling it and trying to buy the same sort of thing in a similar fashion when we return.

It brakesmy heart to sell the things I love and spent a fortune on but alot of the things are larger Australian sized not for small Uk homes.

 

Anyways if interested message me'. But like I said it's a long shot and probably eBay it. Just felt it would be perfect for someone emigrating to have it!!

We have been out to Oz and triggered visa but back to finish work till Dec. we are going back in Jan2013 on a 163 visa. We have just had another little girl and can not believe we have to apply again from start for her to be added to ours. And another $4000 so if your thinking of having children close to going wait till you are there and it will cost you 0.
