I like midland my first job when i stepped off the plane 32 years ago was in midland gate shopping centre , my father lives in viveash near the river , he has no problems there , there are some very expensive houses surrounding midland like west midland and guildford ,
it has a good bus service and train service , it dosnt take long to get into the city , so its quite central .
I will admit i wouldnt want to be around the train station late at night , but there again that applies to most train stations

its so sad it baught back memories of when i lived in singapore in 1997and silk air 185 went down just before xmas , a girl from our apartment block went down on it , an english girl called elizabeth , it went down in pelambang sumatra , it was thought it was suicide by the pilot , there was a lot of evidence pointing towards it , they never recovered any of the bodies , i think every one in singapore knew some one on that plane

about 7 years ago i had enough and changed jobs i dont manage salons any more i just do my job and leave at the end of the day , which suits me
i dont think its fair and i think people should be compensated for their time , but it is whats expected

I know this threads possibly been done to death but I'm touting the best books for this big lovely summer and Christmas break!!
I recently read Ben Elton's 'Two Brothers', I absolutely loved it, it quite surprised me not being a Ben Elton fan yet I would say it's been one of my best reads this year.
What books are you reading? What do you recommend for this lovely hot summer break?
i really enjoyed the two brothers its the only ben elton book ive ever read , just finished the new frederick forsythe book it was a good read.
for xmas ive lined up , tom clancy , martina cole , lee childs ,john connolly , michael connolly , linda la plante, and i have also just got a new author to try the book is called " the book thief" i normally read the latest bryce courtney on boxing day , which is really easy reading , but as last year was his last book , ill substitute one of the above on boxing day ,xx

\From what I've read on here, I thought the third party cover included with Rego only covered injuries to another person and not their property.thats correct/

I would have said ring the police, as they have committed a crime I would have thought.
It hasn't happened to me though so haven't done it myself.
A quick call into the police station can't hurt. They will tell you if they aren't interested.
The insurance company will probably want a police report anyway in this situation.
the police wont be intrested , i was on hodges drive green light i went through and this kid turned in front of me on a red light spun me almost 360 degrees i got his number plate [ he drove off ] went straight to the police and reported it they then sent my details to him and his to me , he then went in and reported the accident , 19 days after it happened , he said some thing entirely different , the police said it was he said she said ,[ and although they believed me as what i said made sense , their hands were tied and leaving the scene of an accident didnt matter ]
so insurance told me i would loose my no claims bonus , i was injured went through insurance commision , i wouldnt let it go , and after ten months of trying to deal with him they found in my favour , [ he changed his story that many times !!!and was abusive [ , so the insurance fixed my car under duress as i told them i was not going to renew with them [ rac ] which is what happened , i havnt been at fault with an accident for over 25 years ,

heres a tip for you , check all planning permission for ANYTHING on the property you are buying , i have owned my house since 98 and i had the council come around today to check i have approvals for any work i have had done , i have a balcony at the front of the house original ot the house with glass fencing all original to the house when built , but apprently on the original drawings it looks to be a wooden fence so now i have to get a surveryer tocheck it out and i know the rules have changed !!its 850 high and i now beleive it has to be 1200 high so this will proberly cost me 5/6 grand to redo , plus i have to put planning permission in for it .
it dosnt matter that the builder did it which i can prove from when we bought it as i have the original pictures its my probelm , so any wall above half a metre needs to be shire passed any wooden stuctures need to be shire passed etc , check it out as it can cost you dearly and if the sellers cant show permission they are responsible to get it passed xx

when you speak to the pest control man tell him you not only want to know if there is any infestation , but i there is any previous damage from white ant etc , as tech they only have to tell you of current activity not that six months ago the little buggers ate almost the whole way through a beam or your roof trusses etc .
im sure your property will be fine but years ago i asked this when looking to buy a property in kalamunda , and ended up walking away from it as there was that much old internal damage , plus current activity around the ground floor [ the past damage would have cost me a fortune to fix ]
