Nope we had migration agent, not the best!!

Nomination refused due to lack of info supplied by employer, Immi saying they requested the info back in Jan, but agent never received the request?!? After the 28 days, no info was received, they refused it, hence the appeal.

not sure of exact but here goes:

Nomination submitted July 14

Visa submitted Sept 14

Nomination refused Jan 15

Appealed early Feb

nomination hearing heard end Sept 15

Remitted back to Immi Oct 15 & approved Nov 5th 15.

Visa appeal heard & remitted to Immi 8th Dec

New police & medicals submitted end of Dec (these had expired so knew we would have to do them)

Finally Granted visa 29th January 2016!

One hell of a long 18 months,but we got there!!

Finally it was our turn! After 2 & half years of starting the 186 visa process, 2 appeals we are finally permanent residents!!

Which visa waqs it you were denied Jayzo?? I am currently waiting on a hearing for my 820 which was declined in March 2015.

Hi, we are going from 457 to 186, the nomination was refused in Jan (lack of information ) appealed feb, hearing was heard September, remitted back to immi & approved November, visa appeal was heard Dec 8th, approved & remitted back to immi, new medicals & police checks sent to immi 28th Dec as these had expired. Still waiting for visa now lol. Sooo stressful!

anyone any idea what 'under consideration' means? My case was remitted back to immigration Dec 8th, after going through the appeal process, new police & medicals submitted end of Dec as these had expired. Emailed them a few days ago & they replied to advise its 'under consideration'

Iam still waiting for a CO, rang my agent probably tens of time but no luck he is saying that he heard nothing back from dept.

 

Nomination was set aside on 1st sep and visa application was remitted back to dept on 2nd oct, thats it heard nothing since then.

Our second appeal (visa) was remitted back to DIBP dec 8th, new police & medicals sent to our agent 28th Dec, how long did you end up waiting for a case officer? Emailed our agent 2 days ago asking for update,..., still waiting lol.

Anyone know the how long applications are taking if you have been through the appeal (AAT) process & 'won' (457 to 186)

Ours was remitted back to immigration Dec 8th, since then both Police & medicals have been redone & attached to our fie as they had expired.

You are not alone. Our nomination was refused in January, passed to the tribunal early Feb, had the hearing 29th Sept, approved (yippee) sent back to immigration early Oct for processing, heard nothing since, despite chasing our agent several times!!!! Now waiting to have our visa appeal heard....... The member who heard the nominaton appeal said there is a good chance our visa case will land on her desk... But when lol???!!!

Our Police checks / Medicals also expired May this year :-(

Hi, yes we are, been here 2 years now. Still no news. Think we have until the 2nd feb to lodge it with the Migration Review Tribunal. Either way we will fight it!!

There is a date of 17.12.2014 where it says 'no documents' - Requested? Mentioned this to our agent & this was additional info for the visa? We have had no contact, it's all been done by our agent. She is saying the additional info they wanted was for the visa, never received email requesting anything for the nomination part.

Just hope it works it self out & the decision is overturned, yet at the end of the day, it is us that suffer!

Hi, we received the dreaded news - our nomination had been refused! Immigration requested more info, our agent never received this request, they went to review it, saw the information had not been supplied, Refused on these grounds.

Our agent is in contact with the manager & requesting the decision be overturned, she is hopeful but can't be sure they will...

Stressed out to to the max doesn't come close to what we are going through right now.

Hi, our nomination & visa were submitted together by our agent, decision ready on 3rd September. 4 months & waiting! Our agent estimated approx 3-5 months......... Longest wait of my life!

Hi, had an email today, they are still processing our nomination. Just wish they would get on with it, getting frustrated now :arghh:

Been checking mine constantly, lodged 3rd Sept.

I got excited too, we lodged 3rd September, ours changed from 'requested' to 'received' and dates next to the documents said 22.12.2014, so I'm hoping we are not waiting much longer......

Hi all, we have just logged into our Immi account, (didn't realise we could as we used an agent) who is useless to say the least, and it says 'In Progress' does this mean we have a case officer? We submitted visa 3rd September.

Hi, we too are eagerly waiting, nomination lodged 26th July, Visa submitted 3rd September. Hoping we are next..... I have just emailed my agent to see if she has heard anything..
