Hi we are moving to Melbourne shortly, we have two children 8 and 6yrs old. They currently attend private education here in the UK and are looking for very good schools in the Mornington/Frankston area? They dont need to be independent as we have heard the schools in Oz are much better than here in England!
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I work in one and compared to the UK your last quote is not entirely true :frown:
IMHO I will just say that there are children who could do better academically in both the school i work at and my daughters and they are not supported to move on further than the class at all. This is what i have found.
You should check out both public and private before deciding. There are 2 private in Mt Eliza - The Peninsula School and Toorak although i am not sure Toorak go from Primary. There are waiting lists for Peninsula. A lot of families choose catholic and christian schools here too they are fee paying but not as expensive as private.
