Guest tricky35
Hi all, I am looking to emigrate to Australia and need to ask a couple of Q’s I am in £29,000 worth of personal debt (loans/cc) and would like to know… Do I have to declare my UK debt when I fill out the “Australian Skilled Sponsored (stare/territory)” Visa application form? And would they let me in with this amount of unsecured debt? If I declare myself personally bankrupt in the UK now (before I apply for a visa) will they still let me into Australia? And do they even ask the Question? Thanks in advance. Richard
Guest Geordieinaus
If you had 2 applicants, one with a clean record and the other with defaults/debts/bankruptcy, which one would you choose? All forms would ask personal questions, such as bankruptcy/criminal offences... ie a 'character test' If I was in your position, Id be applying for the visa before registering for bankruptcy, becuase at the time of filling the visa form, you still had a 'clean slate'
