Capt C I submitted my EOI on 23 July but I haven't got an invitation till today. I only got 60 points, could that be the reason for the delay in getting an invitation. -

Going by the above post of yours Capt C, Can you please tell me that DIBP is picking up the PCC requirements(stat declarations) on the basis of EOI submitted or section 18,19,20 of the form 80 which asks the address history, employment history etc for the past 10 years? -

Thank You very much for your response. "If you receive an invitation, you will have 60 days toapply online for the visa. During that time, you cannot change the informationin your expression of interest." So, basically after getting an invitation you have 60 days and within that period you can submit the documents and if they still need anything, then you still get 28 days to reply. -

I am hoping that when we get an invitation from the EOI, we will get a notification on our registered email. Is there a possibility that I can join the ship after submitting all the documents for a 8 week trip or will have to stay till I get the grant. Clearly it seems like a lengthy process , although going by some of the cases mentioned above, few lucky fellows did get the grant in a decent time. Thanks. -

Sorry, I couldn't get it. "Statutory Declaration (Stat Dec) is a statement that you declare something to be true, you must have a stat dec certified by a person authorised by the Attorney General." What are the contents of the statement, and who is the person authorised by the Attorney General in India. Also · "" Recreating the PDF with Distiller set to 'lowest file size'. Ensuring that all images in the PDF are set to 96 DPI. "" The files uploaded as attachment , we can upload upto 60 files and it should not exceed 5 mb. So do we have to follow the above guideline while scanning the documents? -

Capt C, Stat Dec, I assume is the sigining of Australian Value system and providing biometrics. Or form 80 has Australian Value system. I stayed for more than a year in UK, do I have to get a PCC from UK. -

Thanks Rohit, Unfortunately, they didnot. Since I was not aware that sea time letters will be asked again, I din't bother asking them, although the examiner had the whole lot of bundle infront of me. Anyways, I have started asking all the companies to give me the sea time letter again. Other thing is the original contracts and the payslips, i am finding it hard to locate them, specially of the initial ones which I did long time back. What are the documents that have to be notarized? Form 80 has to be filled is it? -

Capt C, Thank You very much. Regarding the seatime letter that one has to get from various companies, I once obtained all the original sea time letter from various companies and sent it to AMSA back in 2014. Do I need to again get those original seatime letters from various companies and submit to DIBP when invited for the Visa. Or will the photocopies of the previous ones will do? Although I am trying to get as many originals as I can but a few companies are quite fussy. -
