I arrived in Oz a couple of weeks ago and I'm staying in and around Brisbane with family for the next few weeks. Just interested to know if there's any backpackers around Brisbane that fancy meeting up for drinks or anything really? Would just be good to meet up with some travellers like myself and socialise rather than have my family feeling the need to try and entertain me. seymour88 Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share Posted July 15, 2014 Hi Emma, I'm not in Brisbane any more, I'm up in Tully doing my farm work on a banana farm. I had fun in Brisbane though, there's definitely more to do there than meets the eye. As for work in Brisbane, I can't really comment as I didn't work while I was there. I've not done the east coast yet either, going to do it on the way back down but it's a great time to be up north if you do go for it. The weather has been great up here!
