AN1990
Hi all, I'm originally an EU national living in the UK and my girlfriend owns a New Zealand passport and she's currently living in Victoria, Melbourne. We were thinking of registering our relationship in Victoria, in an effort to have more options in the future in terms of living in the same country again (https://www.bdm.vic.gov.au/marriages-and-relationships/register-a-domestic-relationship). Here's some more details: We've been in a relationship for approximate 8 months (we're both females) and we met when she was on Visa in the UK. We have never formally lived together as of now, we have no joint bank account. However I do have some questions if someone can please help: 1. Are we going to be eligible based on the details above? 2. How do we prove the following; 'You provide domestic support to each other' and 'You're committed to each other both personally and financially.' given our situation. 3. I know at the end of registration, we receive a certificate; can this certificate be used to prove our relationship in other countries (UK)
