Linda Brown
I'm new to the forum, I hope someone can give me some advice. We've been waiting for our 143 visa since December 2015 and we're now thinking of trying to get to live with our son and his family on a tourist visa till we get nearer to our 143 processed. Can anyone tell me which is the best one and if there's any restrictions. I would be grateful for any advice.

Linda Brown
Thanks Sharad for that, does it last for 12 months ?
Sharad Guru
It depends on age factor.like for my mother they gave us 12 month visa in first try, then 2 years for second chance.and for me always 3 months visa with 3 mnths of stay and same 3 month stay for my mother also
Sharad Guru
Do you have any idea about medical request.its getting worst day by day that they are not sending any thing.
Linda Brown
I think, reading other posts on the forum that the time taken to process visa 143 is getting longer and longer, it's really disheartening. All we can do is wait, I think.
