BM Rox
Hi. I want to apply for Australia skill visa as a barber .I have 4 years of experience as a self employed barber , know cutting, clipper use, fading, shaving, beard shaping , head pattrens , etc. But I did not have any nationaly recognised qualification for barbering. Then someone suggested me to do fast track NvQ 2 and level 3 course to prove your skills to Australian imigration. So i done 16 weeks NVQ 2&3 courses and got my certification. Just need to ask if this is acceptable for immigration as i have done free online assessment on point bases and it came positive. But I don't know if TRA will approve my documents for the visa purpose. What documents I have to provide to prove my 4 years experience. ? As I am renting a chair in a hair saloon. Anyone with up to date info .please help. Thank you
Andythebarber
Thank you for your response, but I am unsure myself and as the other lady commented you really do need the qualifications otherwise you have no chance of seeking residency in Australia
