Visa!!

Hi!

So, myself and partner have been on a Working Holiday Visa for the past 21 months and it's coming to an end. We would be devastated to leave so we are doing everything we can to stay. We are 23 and 22 Y/o so still fairly young so we're looking into studying and sponsorship. However, we need some advice, the costs involved in a student visa is going to leave us with next to nothing to live off as we can both only work 20 hours per week. Can anyone help? Our hearts lie here and we are worrying about going forward as going back to the UK and trying to get back here is 10 times more difficult. Anyway, I'll look forward to a reply :-)

Hi Emma,

There's not much specific there that I can help with. Choosing a CRICOS course needs to be done carefully with consideration of both the SOL and the pass mark in SkillSelect; getting an employer to you sponsor you is the holy grail, that depends on so many options and imponderables that you'd be better off seeing an agent and putting all your cards on the table. Good luck!

Cheers,

Thanks George, the sponsorship visa is what I'd prefer right now due to costs etc but finding the right employer within in such a short period of time isn't easy as you can imagine. I'm worried about starting a course that isn't going to benefit me in the future, just because I need to make a quick decision.

Thank you you for your luck, I'm going to need it! :-)
