persianharry Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Hi DAYA and welcome. All I can tell you is that the 489 processing time is seemingly random. There was a group of us that submitted 489s last November and a few of us received the visa a couple of weeks ago, but they were all for SA rather than NT. Other people have reported getting their visa within a week of submitting the medical and police checks. It all depends on a lot of factors e.g. how busy the COs are, how complex your case is etc. etc. It is hard to wait, but just hang in there. Have you applied or are you just looking into it? persianharry Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 That sounds about right, we got our CO in November and then visa grant end of February, so if yours follows the same pattern I would expect you had a week or two more to wait.
