AusExpat
Hi everyone, a friend of mine is applying for PR under the direct entry stream but his visa in expiring soon and he needs to apply before it does, so he can get a bridging visa. Can he apply for PR and then add the IELTS subsequently as an additional document when he gets the result? Can he do the same with his wife's IELTS? Thanks! CaptainC
No, the applicant must have the required English standard at time of application. Unless they are completing an EOI, then they must have the required standard at time of invitation. Is this for the 186 visa?
AusExpat
Hi Captain, This is for a 186 visa through direct entry (so no EOI and no invitation involved)
CaptainC
Hi Captain, This is for a 186 visa through direct entry (so no EOI and no invitation involved) In that case, just at time of application.
