Moved here a year ago as married an aussie, and I have a daughter who is 9. We live in the Bentleigh area. It's an upcoming area (already we have seen new cafes/restaurants etc open up), with easy access to both the CBD and the dandenongs/mornington etc. Because my hubby has 2 kids in the Caulfield area and he works in Broadmeadows we had to draw a circle around the area we could live. If we had been able to move further out I like the look of the Mentone area, has good schools there too. Schools I think is a biggie here. Anyway good luck !
