mygirlies Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 What is your opinion on living in both areas? I am looking to move this year to a different part of Australia. And Ive narrowed it down to these two. I am looking for somewhere that is vegan friendly, has alternative free thinking people... Debbs72 Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Hi I'm in Cairns right now with husband only as he has work here, we actually live in Sydney. So a maybe a biased answer but if I could I would pack right now and move to Cairns. So so calm and beautiful so much to do and see and what wonderful people. Visited Byron Bay on the drive down really lovely but more of a holiday hot spot as people have said a bit hippyfied. As for Cairns I fell in love with the place within a week...my view only so please no negative feedback...but I would highly recommend Cairns very friendly, beautiful.scenic can't tell you a great deal we are a trinity beach so northern beaches we've been around and just lovely happy to help if I possibly can.
