Susudu Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Hi All, I am offshore at the moment and have been given a one year to enter Australia (Until August 2015). These days my husband is in New Zealand and I need to go to New Zealand to meet him before moving to Australia. I know that I can enter New Zealand using my Australian PR. But what I doubt is prior trying to enter to New Zealand do I need to go to Australia first and make the visa valid? Or Visa is valid by default after the grant? Please help me. If you're from one of them and only want to stay for a short time without working (6 months UK, 3 months other visa waiver countries), there would be no need to enter Australia to validate your visa before going to NZ.
