Wells
First things first, happy new year! Me and my husband have decided this is the year we will go for it and submit our expression of interest in hope of moving across the pond with our 2 yr old daughter. My husband has had his qualifications assessed and is now ready to sit his IELTS, however we are unsure as to whether it's the general English test or the academic test he needs to sit, can anybody help advise us? Thank you xx

jac2011
Is the IELTS purely for visa points? If so I believe this can be the general test. If its for skills assessment then it will vary.
Wells
It's purely for visa points, so it's looking like he just needs to sit the general one then. Thankyou for your help on this one! It's much appreciated xx
