pooticket
I'm new to site and wanted to say hello. I'm in the very early stages of applying for a visa with the help of a migration company. I'm a 42 year old man married with two kids aged 3 and 6 and work within the automotive industry. We currently live in the Uk and I've always wanted to live and work in oz but wife wasn't so keen to move due to family etc. Circumstances have now changed and we are both ready for a change. Any advice would be great and I'll keep you posted on how we get on. Great site by the way..

surfndirt
Hey Buddy, Not at all trying to be a negative nelly here but if you havent been following the news in Aus - the entire automotive industry is in the process of closing down. I am not trying to be over hyped here; it is literally the whole industry. Ford in Geelong = 2016 gone Holden in Adelaide = 2017 gone Toyota in Melbourne = 2017 gone If you have a career and specific skills in that field I would really have a bit of a think and do some research before commiting to anything mate. There is gonna be a shed load of auto workers on the prowl very shortly. Again, sorry to be negative but this question really stood out to me as a bit of a danger sign..... Hope this helps.
