amitkd Posted August 8, 2014 Share Posted August 8, 2014 Hi, I am from Bangladesh and have educational qualification of 4 years of Bachelor degree in Computer Science and 2 years of Master of Business Administration (MBA). IELTS score band 7. I want to apply for Skilled - Nominated - Subclass 189. I want know if my MBA will be counted as master degree or not. I am doubtful because my Master degree is not in the same discipline as of my Bachelor degree. Can anyone help me on this ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

amitkd Posted August 8, 2014 Author Share Posted August 8, 2014 Hi Jupiter19, Recently i heard and got a document that for my country they counts Bachelor degree as Associate degree and if i have a master degree then they count it as Bachelor considering both degrees. So, if my MBA is not counted then my overall qualification will be Associate degree and thus i wont get the 15 points. I hope you understand this. Your skills assessment body will do assessment of the qualifications as well 2.
