We'll definitely be looking to socialise with people. We've managed to secure a rental from the UK and will be living in Berwick. Our 7yr old will be going to Brentwood Park primary school. Your coming in the winter so it's abit cooler than we thought but yesterday we had 19 and clear skies, we arrived on June 1st. The Australians seem really friendly and we managed to secure jobs and a rental pretty quickly. We are still finding our feet . We thought our son would find it difficult being away from family as we are very close to them. Although he does miss them he has settled in very well and loves it here!! How is the move going?? Smurfs14 Posted July 29, 2014 Author Share Posted July 29, 2014 You can secure one online depending on agents you just need to send a copy of your documents etc through. If you could put some extra rent upfront it would be in your favour it all depends on your landlord. We stayed with family but it is doable. It's pretty easy to get a rental when you get here.
