Seizethedance
We are in the UK and need to buy a car seat for our 8 month old as she's grown out of the baby one. But we're going to Australia next year. Is there any car seat we can get here that we can also use there or are they ALL illegal? Car seats are confusing  Thanks! Guest
Only car seats that have passed the Aus standards tests can be sold and used in Australia. As in they are supposed to carry the Aus standards sticker. Like the Eu/UK ones carry the EU/UK sticker. So no, your UK car seat will not be legal in Aus whichever way you try to look at it. Have a read of this thread Drop me a PM if you want to chat about any of it. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/transport-shipping/123214-car-seats-australia-what-you-need-know.html
