gallachertx Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 I want to start the process of moving to oz with my husband and 2 children. I am an experienced nurse and did work in oz 10 years ago. Not sure what to do first ? Register with nurse board then apply for jobs I think I would need sponsorship as I think it would be too expensive to do it independently. First, you need to get registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board here in Aust otherwise no one will hire you: http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/ I'm on a sponsorship on a 457 (temporary work visa).
