I applied for Australia immigration in northern territory Darwin as a salon manager. Today i receive rejection from state they don't have my occupation vacant in NT territory. I had experience as hair dresser too in salons where i did some operations management too. Please advice me can i apply as a hairdresser in northern or other territory by doing assessment again. twister292
Your assessment is independent of the state nomination. If you have a positive skills assessment, you can go to any state for nomination. However, approving that nomination is completely up to the state you are applying to. If you can get a positive assessment in another occupation, and it is listed in the state's list, you can potentially apply again. A rejected state nomination wont preclude or exclude you from a different occupation.
