jen80 Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Hi, My Husband got a TRA assessment back in 2006 for our migration visa. He is a joiner / carpenter but had no qualifications as they didn't do that in the UK then. It was all apprenticeship and work experience that he was assessed on. His current job are paying him labourers wage and don't recognise that he is a carpenter, I think due to the lack of qualification. So what I wondered is, is the TRA assessment the equivalent of an AQF3? Can he get an Australian qualification with his TRA assessment without having to mess around with courses etc?
