I've recently driven along Blackburn Rd and noticed that the speed limit from Coleman Parade to the junction with Blackburn Rd/High St Rd is 40 km/h.
What I want to know is, if you are turning right from High St Rd onto Blackburn Rd and there are no speed signs, is it safe to assume that the default speed limit of 50 km/h applies?
I noticed a "60" sign at 189 Blackburn Rd - does this mean the speed camera at this intersection would be triggered if I were going at 50 km/h?
Tldr; should I always assume it's safe to drive at 50 km/h if there are no speed signs when turning onto a new road?
