Sorry, this post is quite specific! Submitted the 189 visa for myself, husband and son. Awaiting to book our medicals this month, however logged back on to the immi account and husbands health assessment status says 'examinations in progress' - myself and my sons still say 'examinations required' as expected. 

Has anyone seen this before, despite no medical history to declare etc? Is it just a glitch in the system? We had previously printed the health referral letter back in September, but wanted to reprint with a more recent date to take to the exam.

Hope this all makes sense! Any advice appreciated. Will try and call Global Support Centre when opens

OK thank you, that's really helpful. We will get a medical in the spring and then cross our fingers we hear from our visa!

Hi! 

Looking for some advice please. Just submitted our 189 visa (critical care nurse), and need to do medical assessment... When is the best time for this? Shall we just get it done ASAP, and hope our visa is processed within the 12 months expiry, or shall I wait to get our visa finalised before completing a medical? - can a visa even be completely processed without a medical? 

Grateful for any advice! Just don't want to spend hundreds for the medical to expire before our visa is granted.
