That’s great news, I’m an RMN in the U.K too, currently in the process of getting my future employer to get everything ready to submit the nomination application.

Can I ask, do you know if your sponsor is an accredited sponsor or not? I’m trying to figure out if the government health providers (NSW Health, QLD Health, etc) nomination applications are processed faster than the independent health providers......

Sorry I don't know that much. I figured because my sponsor is NSW health then they accredited, because they've sponsored many peps before.

  2. 🎉🎈BOOM 🎉🎉

Woke up this morning to find agent has sent the golden email. The long wait is over finally 🙏.

    Occupation: Mental health nurse

    Location: Offshore UNITED KINGDOM

    Visa applied: 186 DE

Nomination: Date applied unknown company did it however, approved 05-Jan-2022

    Visa Lodged: 24-Feb-2022

S56 request more info: statutory declaration regarding driving ban: 27-May-2022

    S56 submitted documents: 30-May-2022

    Visa GRANTED: 09-JUL-2022🎉🌈

Its been a long and anxious journey some days have been really bad in terms of stress but we have endured until the end. This forum has been great and its been ancouraging to know that there are people out there who are helping to carry the same burden.

I wish everyone who is still waiting the best and I hope your turn is imminent.

I just logged on and realised even though I’d submitted the documents and status received that there’s a little blue box at the bottom of the screen to say you submission of al info confirmation. I missed that and have now clicked it. That’s probably cost me a week!!! Anyway most of your probably know but I’m usually quite meticulous and missed it, so thought I’d share in case anyone else has. Visa now says final assessment

If you don't mind me asking how much time were you given to submit more information, was it 28days or 14.

I wouldn't worry too much about losing 7 days because apparently the s56 request more info usually gets dealt with after the expiration of the deadline

Excellent. We just got a reply today from a query we sent on friday morning (Australia time) regarding s56 and now we know we only have 1 thing to do (another statutory declaration) we think it’s should be nailed down the next week or so. My partner’s employer at WA Health was contacted today as well to say that the visa from a work perspective has been approved. My statutory declaration is being notarised this “arvo” and I’ll scan and attach to immi account then and hopefully that’ll be it.

Where are you guys moving to? We’re off to Perth.

That's great news surely within a few days hopefully,  grant will come. We have already started packing hope its not missplaced optimism.

  5. Hopefully not to long now

S56 request 27-May, because we using an agent only saw email in the morning UK time which would have been close of business Australia time.

S56 documents submitted 30-May Australia time. Feeling a lot more optimistic about sooner rather than later grant.

    186 ens DE

    24/02/2022 Visa lodged

    11/03/2022 medicals cleared

Partner is also on PMSOL she is Mental health nurse.

Now we juss waiting and hopping for any kind of movement.

I have a question and hope someone could fill me in. I know its only been a month since the lodgement of application however, I forgot to mention that nomination was applied for separate and was approved early Jan does this mean our application will be processed much quicker or is it luck of the draw.

Kind of comforting to know someone else in my shoes. Lets keep each other informed. On another note do you or anyone know if it's possible to get a 482 TSS visa whilst waiting for the 186 to come through? It would be same employer.

I have searched this forum and others looking for nurse's who have applied for 186 without any luck. From what I understand you can apply for other visa's and the applications won't affect each other but I might be wrong so speak to a good immigration agent. If anything changes on our side I will keep you posted.
