Hi Marisawright
Thanks for your post.
I have taken a points checker on the Australian government website and we qualify. I have also researched a list of skilled jobs that I have the qualifications and experience that is needed to obtain a skilled workers visa.
I understand that no employer is going to wait to see if you can obtain a visa. I’m looking for advice from people with similar qualifications that have been successful in obtaining a visa and which visa that was.
I understand the costs in relocating a family can be expensive. This has been taken into consideration. This will not be the first time myself and my family have worked overseas. We have previously spent 5 years in Cyprus and 9 months in America.
Education is extremely important and that’s why I’m seeking advice from families in a similar position to mine that have successfully obtained a visa and are still currently living in Australia.

Hi All
Im looking at moving my family to Australia.
My background
When I left school I started an apprenticeship In the HVAC industry in which I completed with an NVQ level 3.
I have been qualified domestic and commercial gas engineer for 15 years. During this I took on the role of a mechanical project manager. This role involved everything from estimating to completion of large projects.
I have since set up my own and have worked on a variety of large mechanical installation in a variety of different industries.
I’m looking for advice on how to obtain a mechanical projects manager role in Australia.
Any advice would be appreciated
