Hi,
Is anyone aware of Form 956 A for the appointment of a new authorized recipient? I saw that my agent has uploaded this document recently in my application.
I think that’s from the agent asking someone else to look into your case from my understanding.

Hi all - the 186 TRTS processing time on the IMMI website has increased to between 14 months and 17 months. Does anyone know why this is?
My employer has nominated me and that has all been approved, the agent within the firm has been in contact and all required documents have been requested. I have everything I need except the police certificate from my home country and that has been a process to receive due to COVID complications. Fingers crossed I get it before the end of the month. Anyway. when I first started the process early this year, the timeline on the website was between 6 and 9 months. Any idea why the sudden increase in timeframe?
Depends on the job role I think some have priority then others and as other members said it’s more like if you have a luck they will look into your case as you can see couple of us got forgotten by immigration. 20 months and still waiting had to renew medical and police check coz it expired and still nothing.

4 months ago, In my case my agent asked for the new police certificate from my country. I asked them if it was asked by immi, they said no, my last one was expired so to keep in the system, just in case.
That can be good too so of the immigration ask for it they will see in your case so they can approve you faster for me they asked police check from here coz no point they to ask from country when I already provided and I disnt travel out Australia for the last 7 years so if they ask me again for police check from my country I will write a complaint coz that won't make any sense

Got some movement today. Case officer has now requested a medical for my newborn (just 3 months). BUPA's website says
Children aged less than 6 months old and born in Australia do not need to complete a visa medical in person. Your visa processing officer is required to submit a paper request on your behalf. Please speak to your visa processing officer for further information.
can anyone shed some light on this if you've experienced anything similar?
My timeline is as below -
VISA - 186 (DE) accountant
Location - VIC (onshore) - 3 applicants (myself, wife and newborn baby born after lodgement - all onshore)
Nomination lodged - 31 October 2020
Visa lodged - 9 November 2020 (at that point medicals for me and my wife were provided including relevant tests related to pregnancy)
Baby born on 18 Feb 2021, form 1022 form submitted along with Birth certificate and passport in March
Nomination approved - 29 April 2021
Request for medical for baby - 25 May 2021
I saw somewhere in a Facebook group similar question and the most common answer was that you can go to a normal go and they can write something so you can sent that instead going on bupa for medical

Were those documents asked by case officer or you migration agent?
Usually, if the migration lawyer ask me for additional documents that mean immigration request that.

Hi everyone.
This waiting is killing me. I applied for my 457 on january 2017 as a cook. Later on they changed the 457 visa to 482 visa.
They gave me 457 visa on january 2018 because i had applied before 19 january 2017 but got the visa only for 2 years.
After they said The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed that it will accept applications for Permanent Residency (PR) under the Subclass 186 – Employer Nomination Scheme visa from 457 or 482 TSS visa holders after 23 months in their nominated occupation/position, as opposed to the previous 24 month period. This concession is only available to ‘grandfathered’ PR applicants who held or had applied for a 457 visa as at 18 April 2017.
I applied for 186 TRT stream on January 2020.
Another guy also applied for 186 visa from my workplace after 8 months of my application as a chef.
1 month ago Immigration asked business documents for 2 people "me and the other guy". 1 month ago immigration asked for furthur documents with the other guy only. After submitting documents he got PR but, I am still waiting.
Anybody gone through similar case??. What to do in that case??
Please reply.
I'm in a similar situation I applied for 457 before they change the rule and had the same visa for 2 years then in October 2019 I applied for 186 still waiting almost 20 months on bridging visa they asked twice for police and medical coz they expired and still waiting. You can't compare with your friend as immigration says they do case by case so probably just your friend was a bit more lucky but I don't think you can so anything about that may e just write a complaint you can scroll up many people over here post about writing a complaint.

When did you do the health exam? I thought that they were valid for 1y.
As you can see I applied 8 of October 2019 so it's been over a year to be exact 19 and a half months

Hi all
any one recently complained and got any movement on their files ????
I complete my medical check-up today so hopefully hear from them soon
Does anyone know if immigration gets a notification that the medical check-up is completed? Or I need to wait for a case officer to look in my case? This is my second medical checkup the first one expired and they requested a new one after I submitted my police check in April.

19 months is just insane!
How quickly was your nomination approved in 2019 after your submitted?
Not long after I submit the application.
Anyone knows how long it takes for immigration to get the medical check-up results?

Riki@ your nomination approved already?
I done AFP last week in advance , medical we booked with old hap id but bupa said it’s expired
I think you can hear the good news soon
all the best
Yeah nomination was approved since 2019 i think depends on the luck some people get approved even with expired police and medical check up or some get requested in same time mine was separate police check was requested end of March and medical just on the weekend so hopefully that's the last thing before the decision.

Government is able to understand that there is shortage of staff in hospitality and tourism industry. Hence international students can work more than 20 hrs.
still many hospitality visa applications are not finalised!!!!!!!!! Strangewaiting from mid of 2019
I’m in same boat mate but I have my hopes up once again they ask me to renew my medical check up I got the email on Saturday luckily I find an available spot for next week. Just I don’t understand why they didn’t ask me to provide police check and medical check up together coz I got the email in March to provide police check. Hopefully that’s the last thing

I got an officer send me email and she request more information
However, i login to my immi account. I accidentally press "information provided" and now the status changed to "application in progress". But I am still waiting for my agent to upload these documents,She’s going to upload the next week .What should I do?
Hey mate what info they asked ?
they ask me to provide new police check over a month ago and I ask my lawyer yesterday she said is better to do medical check up too just to make sure if they want medical checkup and I don’t need to wait but I can see here many people got approved with expired medical?
