Hi guys. I just want to ask on how to reschedule the test appointment? Do you have to check all the time to see if there's any available slot? Thanks!

Yes. Keep checking again and again. My original test date was in late Jan but I rescheduled it to early Dec. So it saved my almost 2 months.

Nothing, I applied beginning of dec, but no news, all states are issuing invitation except WA, don't know if because of state election or what exactly.

I got approved on 10th December but still waiting for the ceremony invitation. Dont know how long it will take.

happy new year to you all 🍾🥂

Hi , just download our common bond booklet from immi website. All questions will come from your booklet.  Very easy. Do have a look ar the questions at the end of the booklet. It will be a multiple choice test.  Very easy and straightforward.

  4. Hi all, just a small update. I just received a letter from immigration stating that I passed the citizenship test and to wait for the ceremony. I just now called the local council to check if they will call me for the Australia day ceremony to which they said no as they have already prepared the list.

So to those here whose application is approved recently can call their councils to see if they are still sending invitations.

Hey Mate, did you get approved straight away. I did my test yesterday and application is still showing as received 😒

Hi there, yes a few minutes after the test the online status changed to approved but I haven't received the approval letter yet. It has been 1 week now.

    Hi All!

New to this forum. Submitted my citizenship application on 31st October in WA. Any idea what the wait times are at the moment please?

Also do you receive a letter or an email for the citizenship test?

    Thanks!

My application date was same as yours ( last week of October). You should be receiving an email from the department very soon regarding your citizenship test.

I can imagine a lot of us approved will have the ceremony on Australia Day in January. Fingers crossed for you as well.

Yes. I have heard that councils hold biggest ceremonies on Australia day and call a number of people. Even last year a number of my friends took their citizenship oath on Australia day. Let's hope for the best.

My application has been approved today. Done my test in Brisbane city this morning and approved 10mins after. I am praying for Australia Day ceremony..

Same is the case with me. My application got approved a few days back. Let's hope if we can get Australia day ceremony.

I have heard that they hold big ceremonies on Australia day and invite a lot of people to take oath.

My sister also got approved straight away after her test linked to my application.

However she went back to the person conducting her interview after the test.

Someone just asked if I passed my test and then said I could left. Hopefully this did not influence my approval.

I am not very sure about it. Hopefully you will get the approval soon.

    Hey guys,

just wondering what the average wait time between passing test and ceremony is for Sydney CBD, I see online says +-5/6months but wanted to know if people got theirs sooner.

    thanks

Someone posted here a few months back that they got their ceremony date in 2 months.
