Does anyone know how to contact a case worker to enquire about the status of your citizenship lodgement, without annoying Home Affairs? (Ugh that sounds soooo American......'Home Affairs' )
No... unfortunately there is nothing you can do and no one to contact if it's within the current processing time frame.

Longest 2weeks of my life.
Finally Approved! Test date was 25th Jan, and now approved! Ceremony date still pending, but hopefully soon.
Perth is the place!

Anyone in this group got approval who cleared the test in January 2021
My Wife & Son just got the approval letter today, they got approved on the same day within an hour of doing the test in Perth on 25th Jan,
I finished test prior to her on the same day, still waiting for approval.

My original birth certificate hasn't arrived in time for my interview. I have all of my original documents.
Do they always check all documents or do they just check some? Has anyone been turned away for not having an original document?
They only checked my drivers.

Same here. My son 10 yr old attached with me and got approved on the same day. But not my husband. Test and interview on 14/12/20. Husband immi status still received. What can we do. Location Perth.
Not sure there is anything. Pretty sure it’s normal. Cannot get any info from them unless it’s outside the processing times, which right now is like 4years (might be a slight exaggeration) but it’s long. Guess just have to wait for the letters.

Hello everyone, as I’m filling up my citizenship form now, I need favour from you guys. I have couple of questions if you guys can answer? Do me and my wife need to submit two seperate applications or will be able to do in the same application? Thank you
Both need to submit separate applications. They can be done on the same Immi account, and you can link them with the Reference Number from each application.

So we sat for our interviews and tests on 25th Jan. my Wife & Son(5yr old) where approved within 1hr, however mine has not been. We both got 100% for the tests and I finished well before her.
has this happened to anyone? I assume that hers is approved first as our son is attached to her application. Even though he’s also mentioned in mine.
if this has happened to someone was it resolved easily? How long did it take for your letters to arrive etc? -

Can someone who has recently sat the citizenship test and interview in Perth tell me what to expect please? How long was the interview, what documents did they look at etc.? How long were you at the test centre?
Thanks!
Hi we just sat ours today in Perth. Interview was super quick and simple. They just check to make sure your documents are all legible and check your drivers or passport.
test was also really quick, think we where both done within 20min. Really no queues (possibly due to COVID)

Hi All,
Just wondering just noticed one of the Recommended documents was the Form 1229, is this actually needed? wondering if this may be delaying things?
This only appeared a recommended document on my wife's application, as our son is attached to her's. Our applications are linked.

Finally!!
Citizenship Ceremony: 2nd July 2021
Type: Express Ceremony (we requested Virtual, but i guess they no longer need to in WA)
