    First of all, congratulations!

I applied for a visa around the same time as you. But I'm still waiting for the results of the appeal.

AAT contacted the agent a month ago and submitted additional information.

The agent told me that I just have to wait a few more weeks, but I don't really expect much.

Considering the speed of AAT or DHA's work so far, I don't think the results will come out in a few weeks.

Also, looking at your case, it took about 8 months for you to receive a contact from AAT and approve permanent residency.

Anyway, congratulations and thank you very much for sharing the information.

    This is my timeline..

My RSMS 187 Lodge Time line occupation : Chef : State: WA

RSMS Visa Apply: 29 June 2017

    Nomination refuse: 7 Feb 2019 (1year and 7months waited)

AAT Lodge for nomination and visa: 10 April 2019

AAT send email to migration agent: 22 Feb 2022 (Almost 3 years waited)

    And still waiting....

The most unbearable thing is that all of my colleagues who do the same thing in the same place got PR.

All of my colleagues who joined the company a few years later than me are getting PR and moving forward to their dreams, but I am the only one who is in place.

    This is the saddest thing.

I can feel the same. Everyone around me applied later than me but got their PR earlier than me. I have been stuck in the company for 6.5 years already. And I still have to work for 2 more years when I receive the PR. It is ridiculous. Everyone moves forward or change to a new page.

God wants me to learn patience I reckon.

    Hi,

AAT asked for documents in June, documents submitted end of July. Still no news from AAT.

And recently I asked AAT for an updated letter for me to renew my Medicare but I still haven’t received it yet after more than one week. They sent me the letter pretty quick last year. I have no idea what’s going on in AAT currently, like no one is working in AAT atm.

I think CO is not allocated to your case and unfortunately, the MA can not do anything until the CO is not allocated. I know this because I tried to contact to immi but the customer service centre people (call centre) are unable to assist with anything.

Hope you get CO soon to hear the good news, in the mean time i will highly recommend to get your AFP and your home country police clearance done to avoid further delay when your case open.

Just a question about the police clearance, my country requires the letter from the Australian gov. How could you do that in advance?

    CASE UPDATE

The tribunal contact my migration lawyer on Friday, asking for 2 more documents (updated BAS and update business organisation chart), and everything has been lodged to the Tribunal today.

From your experience, what will happen next? So exciting that things are finally moving!!!!

    Hi MoolaMantra,

Same here. My lawyer contacted me last Friday saying my case has been finally opened and asked for more documents. But besides the BAS and organizational chart, my lawyer also asked me to provide updated resume, photos of my daily job (e.g. doing staff roster, stock take..)..

    Hey guys,

I am newbies on this site but have silently followed for few months. Below is my case and it would be so much appreciated if anyone could assist or give me any idea.

187DE lodged on 14/06/17 as per Cafe Manager in WA. Nomination and visa application were lodged as same date.

21/01/19: CO sent Nomination refusal letter without asking anything with the ground that the manager position wasn’t necessary as owned by 2 owners. Ofcourse it is kinda ridiculous reason for what i have done and still doing this. We do have all the records from business, the owners’ personal circumstances and local community evidence to prove the position is genuine and essential.

Anyway, AAT review was submitted on 21/02/19. Since then, we havent heard anything from them. However, 08/20, we uploaded further evidence including updated business financial statements, payroll system, reference letters and medical records of one of the owners.

In short, it has been more than 27 months after the AAT review being submitted, we havent heard anything.

So here i am...i do wish to hear any comments from you guys. Any suggestions are more than welcome as i have been desperately waiting for this case.

I have noticed that alot of people in here have got hearings or finalised case after such a lengthy waiting period. I believe the date of AAT review and AAT contacts aligning with nominated occupation and state are something helpful to track down where we are. Does anyone have this?

Thank you for spending your time on my post and look forward to seeing your comments

    Hi Danny,

i have been waiting for 31 months now and I haven’t heard anything yet I totally understand your feeling. Same position but in Qld. I was desperate a while ago and really want to give up. But my faith in God gave me strength again.

Hope we all will hear from AAT soon.

    Mila it’s not.

Myself and some other people here in this group are waiting 7/8 months.

and like I said before, I got a friend who waited after winning AAT 1 year and half.

So it’s a long journey. If you are waiting to be call at AAT be aware that after that is so much more time

    Really?? That’s just unbelievable

but i remembered there were also some members here sharing that they just waited few weeks after winning AAT 🤔

So I thought this is a new thing 🤔

I waiting for my wife's AAT hearing for 17 months. AAT gave priority 1. My agent told me it would be within 1 month. But already passed 17 months. Agent said the delay is due to coronavirus. Still do not when AAT will call for hearing even my agent does not know.

Any body has this type of experience or in similar situation. Any information about AAT hearing on partner visa appeal and what my agent should do for the AAT hearing. My agent asked for the visitor visa for my wife. Would it a right decision to do where Immi refused my wife's visa and waiting for the hearing in AAT.

    Waiting for your response guys..

    Thanks.

I have been waiting for 26 months...

Why AAT gave your wife priority 1?
