  1. Hi Guys

I lodged my citizenship application this week , is it wise To proactively submit My overseas police check  as well to speed up the application ?

Also I have an old pcc from Jan 2020 and I have not travelled overseas since then so will they consider old pcc or better to lodge a new pcc clearance ?
pcc validity is only 1 Year though

    All the best

    Thanks

Hello, You have to submit police clearance if they asked and they do not ask for all applicants.

    @Friends,

Correct me if i am wrong

Hi , Thank you for replying

yes I am aware It may need to be lodged especially  , But can pcc be submitted or uploaded on immi account later in 1-2 months after I have lodge my citizenship application and not at the time of application?

Hi David, Welder, Laticia do you know any one else who is waiting after nomination approved by AAT??

or Have you  got any idea or advice why we are stuck ???

    Thanks

Hey , I have been waiting since May as well after AAT win and S56 request

its so annoying Even AAT has no info on this matter , However On Aat Website it states if you are unhappy about the delay by Immi in implementing our decision you may contact Commonwealth ombudsman

or we can lodge a complaint with immigration Global feedback unit!

I am so irritated with this delay that I might lodge a complaint as well with Ombudsman.

Well whenever anything goes Wrong in Australia , we Temporary residents are soft Targets! And due to covid we are suffering now due to unemployment rise and internal Quota politics ! That what I feel is going on.

even though we are already part of Covid 19 recovery as we are still working and paying our Taxes but they would just ignore such facts ! I seriously wish there was someone who can raise such issues for us and question these decision makers.

hope the waiting will end soon for us as there is hardly anything more we can do

    Not medicals yet, just PCC,

Based on this forum and past experiences I have read here , VISA used to be granted after 45-60 days From nomination AAT approval

no clue whats going on now AS WE GUYS BEEN WAITING FOR MONTHS , what does your agent think is cause for the delay ?

cant just Blame covid for everything

  11. So This Priority list That came out this week effects us all ? Who are just waiting for their Visa after AAT win , which took over 2.5 years
i am so over this , 3 .5 plus years of waiting since application and now this comes up ?

This is a never ending process , That just find new ways to Run you over and over again.

zero accountability , No common sense

Hope one day It ll change

No response from immi after nomination approval.

no further documents requested but they will ask updated Medical & PCC ones they open file.

My MA send email for HAP ID but still havent got reply back from immigration.

    Occupation: Cook, VIC.

    Hi Hiral

did you hear back yet from immi after AAT win ?

They did apply for the 457s lodged before 18 April 2017, that is that these visa applicants/holders are able to proceed with PR even if the occupation is on the STSOL (up until March 2022). However, they were granted a 2 year visa (instead of 4 years as per the occupations on the MLTSSL)

    Hi Laura

can you also advice if AAT 186 Remittals are given a priority in terms of finalizing the visa ?

won the case in April , Nomination approved but still awaiting visa from last 4 months

I got my decision 3 months after the hearing . There is no set wait times for it and they can always take longer depending how complicated you case is and Members Backlog , You can always call AAT and follow up directly with the case officer but they ll give a standard reply to wait but worth a shot if you are tired of waiting.

hang tight And All the best

Hey how did u go , did u get your decision or still awaiting ?

    all the best
