If anyone used a migration agent to successfully change over from 103 to 143 visa, would you be able to please recommend them?
I did it myself, was an easy process.

Hi there
I am wondering if someone who has lodged a 143 themselves can help. We have paid the fee required to lodge the application and will be sending the documents today to WA. As it is a paper only application how do we receive confirmation that the application has been received and put in the queue? Will we get an email? Thanks for your help we haven’t lodged a paper application before
Once you have lodged by paper. You will Get confirmation via email within 10-30 days.

Are you offshore? If so I would expect you to be near the top of the queue once they start requesting further documents again but that doesn't appear to have happened for over a year now sadly
Had a response from Immigration, Advising that they have considered my previous application date and no further update.
Assuming Covid has played the role in delay.

Looking for some advise Queue date 103 visa 01/07/2015 switched to 143 visa 12/10/2020 with Acknowledgement Letter 25/10/2020, No update has been provided so far. I was expecting the application to progress considering original application date was 01/07/2015. Has anyone been in a similar boat as me ?

It makes me think they may have reached the cap for this year
You might be true, looking at @palaceboy1 timeline makes me think. They have reached the cap for this year.

Switched over from 103 to 143 on 12/10/2020. I have received Acknowledgement Letter 25/10/2020 no movement after that.
I was expecting the process to be quicker as my Original queue date is ( 01/07/2015 )
Thoughts ? Has anyone switched over recently ?

Hello everyone
I lodged the application for my mom through an agent. Is there anyway I can register to receive notification of that application? I want to check the process by myself.
Does anyone have experiences in this case?
Thank you!

We used an agent to smooth the process , so you actually want to switch from 103 to 864 . Are your parents currently in Australia as they would need to be for this visa . If they are offshore I cannot see the benefit for them ,the current restrictions on entry to Australia due to the COVID virus are very strict and it could be some time before entry is allowed .
They are currently overseas. If 103 is granted, I guess border restriction still applies. Have you been approve to travel ?

Perfect thank you,
My dad is 66 and mum is 59. Can I go for Aged Contributory visa( 864 ) for both or only my dad ?

103 visa lodged in March 2015,
switched to 143 in Sept 2017.
So far no response at all.
I thought it would be processed quite quickly.
Email sent to parents@homeaffairs.gov.au but only got auto response.
Just wondering if there is any way to get their attention?
I am also thinking doing the same
103 visa lodged in 2014 queue date
considering going for 143, Question is will they consider my current waiting time spent on 103 ? Or I will go back in the line again ?
switch from 103 to 143 but no response
