Hi,
I don't see any option while booking medicals about this question "if I am intended to apply for PR in the next 12 months"?
I am booking through with BUPA Medicals, Can you please let me know where exactly you selected this option to include HIV and other exta tests for PR
Hi, Sorry for the late response. But I don't recall where exactly. It may be when doing Health Declaration in the Immi account. If you choose this option there, it will automatically suggest additional tests. Based on the HAP ID, BUPA will add those tests.

Hi, Could you please help with my query?
My 457 visa was expiring last month (July), so my company applied for extension (482 visa) in April. While the application is in progress, just on the day 457 visa was expiring last month, I have applied for 486 TRT visa. So I have two different bridging visas now. I am not sure if both can be active at the same time or the latest one only is effective. As soon as 486 visa was applied, when I checked, the bridging visa status was active (probably because my 457 was expiring on the same day). When 482 visa was applied in April, my bridging visa status was mentioned as it will be active after 457 visa expiry date.
- Which bridging visa is active now, 482 or 186?
- Is it advisable to withdraw 482 visa now?
- Will it not cause confusion to case officer to have multiple visas applied at the same time?
- Even though it is not likely to happen, is it good to keep 482 visa lodged, as there is always chance that 186 may not be successful?

There are other statuses as well, like Initial assessment, further assessment and I guess one more not sure what was it.(i guess finalised)
There is no way to know if a CO is allocated or not unless there is a request for further document is done or status change.
But hey, how about the good news, So much application goes straight to finalized from received status. So worry not Hang in there will come soon .fingers crossed
thank you for the clarification.

Hi,
Does the application (186 TRT) stay in 'Received' status until it is finalised? Are there any other statuses? Is it possible to know if the case officer is allocated to my application?

Your Mara was right. TRT does not need skill assessment. Only DE does.

Have you done your skill assessment?
Is 482 visa applied with the same occupation as a Software Engineer?
From the website, 186 medicals are different from 482. Did u check with MA?
21 hours ago, sonhcnet said:You cant' import nomination application. Check with your agent only.
I'm also curious about the medical exam. Did you take full check (including HIV) for 482, and how old was it?
Thank you for the response.
I did not do skill assessment as it is not mandatory. Is it required?
Yes, 482 visa also applied with same occupation.
While booking for 482 visa medicals, there was an option to do complete medicals if I am intended to apply for PR in the next 12 months. So I did medicals which includes HIV and blood tests. Medicals status is clear.

Hi,
I am newbie to this website. Lodged my application on 28/7. How long does it take to get the case officer assigned?
Nomination application is lodged by migration agent. Can we see the status of nomination based on the TR or do we need to ask the MA only?
Visa : 186 TR
Nomination and Visa Applied - 28-Jul-2020
Medicals - Were cleared as part of 482 visa
Onshore : Yes
Role : Software Engineer
Visa Status - Received

Guidance and prepare your document, it not as simple than you think alot of things to prepare e.g employer nomination stage, employee application stage etc.
Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
I will be little more clear on my case. As per another colleague, who is just a couple of weeks ahead of me in the process, told me that my employer has a migration agent(MA). The MA is offering two options, one is fully taken care by MA and other option is he helps up to some extent and the rest can be done by the employee. The first option is costlier than second one. I guess, nomination part is taken care by the MA and he will also review my application details before submitting. I will get a call from the MA in 2 days time, then I will come to know exactly which part is taken care by him for the second option. I thought I will gather some information before having the call with MA. I will get back here after having the call with MA.
Thanks again for your response.

Better use migration agent,
Thank you for the quick response. What is the advantage of the migration agent?

Hi,
I am new to the forum. My employer has agreed to sponsor 186 TRT stream visa. I will have option to apply on my own or apply through migration agent (more cost for me). Is it easy to apply for the visa on my own? If not, I will engage migration agent.
Please advise.
