Hi friends! My employer got S56 request asking if the position still available and give statement confirming the availability of the position. What would be the suitable document to support it? Or just need to give the written statement? Have anyone come up with this situation and what approach was applied?

Thanks in advance for the help and good luck to everyone!

I got same request, my MA just ask my employer write letter confirm for position available. Not sure about other. I can share sample. Leave me email

    Hi people,

I had to import my PR application under my immiaccount as my agent was not giving me timely updates earlier. So once she got to know about it, she is furious about it and mentioned that she has the right to forego the representation for my case. Any one knows if this impacts PR application in any way?

    Thanks.

Is she MA licensed?, I dont see anything wrong with it. If you Import just for tracking your progress it should be find. For me she still have to continue your case this not reason she cancel your contract.

I also imported my application, my MA know it either.

    Hi Guys

Did you hear any news regarding new rules coming up in October 2020. Any idea? People who already applied 186.  Last time when I applied 457, my file was in process and I had to follow new rules.

The rule is apply on time you apply, if you already applied then you follow old rule. Its grandfathering law.

I'm in the same boat. Visa lodged in april. S56 asked for in June. They needed an updated Australia police check(I submitted an out of date one😞) and a discrepancy on my UK police check. NO LIVE TRACE which dated bk to 2001 for a caution I received when I was 17!!. All info rectified within the 28days stated including original police report from 2001. It's very frustrating not knowing. I have a family here in Sydney now and would be financially better of with residency and daycare subsidies. Has anybody been in a similar situation and could shed some light on waiting times when visa is in 'further assesment'??

My visa lodged in sep 2019, still waitng. S56 on 31 jan 2020 after that no comment.............only I can do is waiting

    Hi all,

Its been 18 months we are waiting for our visa to be grant, Nomination is already approved on 16th may 2019.

Can anyone tellme where can I contact or email about my visa application, also my migration agent is very useless man, I renewed my passport and given him all details about 7 weeks ago but he didn’t bother to update that on my visa application.

The waiting time is over now. Please suggest me if someone got a positive responce from department after contacting with them.

    Im depressed and hopeless.

    Thankyou.

Try to track application on Immiaccount. You can update passport detail.

    Please update timeline

Hi, Could you please help with my query?

My 457 visa was expiring last month (July), so my company applied for extension (482 visa) in April. While the application is in progress, just on the day 457 visa was expiring last month, I have applied for 486 TRT visa. So I have two different bridging visas now. I am not sure if both can be active at the same time or the latest one only is effective. As soon as 486 visa was applied, when I checked, the bridging visa status was active (probably because my 457 was expiring on the same day). When 482 visa was applied in April, my bridging visa status was mentioned as it will be active after 457 visa expiry date.

    - Which bridging visa is active now, 482 or 186?

    - Is it advisable to withdraw 482 visa now?

    - Will it not cause confusion to case officer to have multiple visas applied at the same time?

    - Even though it is not likely to happen, is it good to keep 482 visa lodged, as there is always chance that 186 may not be successful?

    - if you already lodge no need to withdraw.

    - it will not effect Immigration decision, (you can lodge many of visa at same time).

    - if your 186 refuse you still have 482 as backup

This same advice from My MA before but I decided not to lodge 2 visa at same time. It safe but cost you more.

Hi @devProgrammer, my MA told me that if I import the application into my immi account, they will lose control to view and update information (186 DE application)

A friend from a different company informed the same regarding their MA.

As you mentioned this is not the case, I wonder if there is some other reason why they say this. Maybe just to avoid us accidentally messing up the application 😅

I alway import my application to my Immiaccount, nothing wrong with it. Your MA might worries if because we can made change upload document etc. Import it for only view, I dont see anything wrong.
