To be fair, from the info you've given here there's no way anyone could know if its a complex case or not, they'd need far more details before being able to make an assessment.

Hope it works out ok 🙂

Thanks fingers crossed. Again  would happy to take his services if needed .

I'm happy to give support of this nature to our fee paying clients.

Have to draw the line somewhere!

    Onwards!

No Problem, thank you.  I can only take your services if a need arise. Don’t want to sound rude but for now there is no indication from the department so wont have any advantage of taking your services now

If you would like our involvement in the management of your father's visa application please feel able to send a message to me.

I can then advise details of our fee.

    Best regards.

    Hi Alan,

i would love to but for now It was just a normal question considering you are an agent you may have come across such cases, wanted to know if it is normal or seems complex ?

If you are issued a queue date all is well.

You could try asking the examining panel doctor too, perhaps?

    Best regards.

Sure thanks for the reply they just said if there is any thing you will hear within 5 days otherwise all is fine . With that said My fathers BP was high around 155/91 even though he is not a BP patient , they gave a reference to GP and mentioned it purely for duty of care purproses.

when reached home and checked again the BP was 120/80.

does it sound normal ? Will there be a chance of any complexity, Apart from that he only has diabetes which is always controlled.

also any idea how many weeks it takes to issue queue date ,

With an 804 visa application there is an initial assessment of health and character 24 to 36 months after the visa application is lodged.

Once these are cleared a queue date is issued.

IMHO your migration agent should know about this

    Best regards.

Hi Allan, Did you know how to check if the medical assessment has been successful or not considering it is a paper based application

  6. Hi All,

Recently got parents medical assessment request for 804, lodged 3 years back.

Question— Has anyone got rejected in the initial medical assessment or it is just to cheic if TB or any other communicable disease is there or not ?

2.) Can diabetes be an issue for rejection ? Do they even check it in the request.

They have diabetes,BP and my mother had breast cancer (25 years ago, she was assessed earlier as well and was granted visitor visa), My concern is there a chance they can fail this initial medical test, Have anyone seen any forum where such incident has happened or this initial assessment is just to check if any communicable disease is there or not lime HIV,TB etc .

your help will be really appreciated

If people have answered the same question on a different thread you are unlikely to get an answer. Better to stick to one thread, or start your own so all your answers are contained in the same place.

I have put in 5 thread because some threads are not active and some are so you dont know who will reply. and in all those threads I found the answers very vague, I am happy to remove those questions from those thread and can continue on this thread.

You have asked this same question many times (at least 5 that I can see) in different threads - the answer remains the same as the one I already gave you: at the moment it is generally taking several weeks to get an acknowledgment from the parent visa section.

Thank You for answering, What I am asking is does Bridging visa comes after the acknowledgement . I have put in 5 thread because some threads are not active and some are so you dont know who will reply.

Thanks for the reply, I have read about the Bridging Visas but let me explain you the actual scenario , My parents visa will expire on 10 June  2020 and the documents have reached today, so when you say valid application, my parents satisfy all the criteria’s even balance of family test , the do we require their acknowledgement for the BV to be granted?

if no then how we will get to know that the BV will be applied once the current visa expires , I mean I want to be sure that it kicks in when their current visa expires,

    can anyone answer it please

HI I got the email on 8 feb 2020...My parents are offshore..so no Bridging visa for them...

    According to Immi

If you applied in Australia, you were granted a bridging visa when you lodged your application if:

    • you held a Contributory Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 173)
    • you held a Tourist visa (subclass 676) or Visitor visa (subclass 600) granted through ministerial intervention
    • you are a family member of a Contributory Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 173) holder

Does you parents meet any of the above conditions...pls explain..thanks.

    Hi Munawar,

Thanks for the reply, My parents are onshore and I applied for Aged Parent Visa ,The paper form reached yesterday and currently they are on tourist visa which will expire on 10 June 2020.

I wanted to know how many days it takes them to acknowledge the paper based application.Unlike online application where it is very quick to generate the acknowledgement and bridging visa ?

  14. Can anyone please shed some information on this , My forms have reached the perth centre, How many days it will take them to grant bridging visa , My parents current visa will expire on 10 June 2020.

Is there a way to contact them ?

Any suggestion/ expert recommendations are most welcomed. Please help me as I am kinda a new in this and department guidelines on the grant of Bridging visa is not very clear

Bridging visas are granted when you make a valid onshore application. However they do not actually kick in until the current visa expires. You remain on the visa you are on then when it expires the bridging visa allows you to stay until a decision is made on the new visa. Do read the conditions of the bridging visa, they are not all the same.

  16. Hi Guys,

I have applied for the 894 parents visa and it has reached the perth centre today. How many days it takes them to grant the bridging visa as my parents visa will expire by 10 June 2020.

Does the bridging visa comes after they acknowledged the application ?

Please help guys, any expertise or recommendations are welcomed

  17. Hi,

Thanks for the reply, Can you remember if they sent an email to you .Does this Bridging visa automatically applied or it came after the acknowledgement.

I can wait for the queue but I am more concerned about the allocation of bridging visa.

Is there any contact number which I can use to contact them.

  18. Hi Munawar,

I have also applied for the same visa, for my parents and sent them the form today. Did you get the acknowledgment, how many days it took them to acknowledge it and what about Bridging visa did they give bridging visa immediately or after acknowledging the application in case if the person is onshore

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the figures posted by IMMi yesterday on the visa queue calculator are wrong . They made a similar mistake last month and corrected it when I pointed it out, same mistake this month.

    Hey,

I applied for 804 parents visa and the documents reached today.

Do you guys know how much time it takes for the perth centre to send an acknowledgement and give a bridging visa.

Can anybody please provide an estimate?
