I am having a fight with the company provided migration agent. The agent is saying, required three-year experience should be as an employee. Experience as an individual contractor is not suitable for this visa as per following clause.
• Clause 186.234(2)(b) requires that at the time of application the applicant has been employed for at least 3 years in the occupation on a full time basis and at the level of skill required for the occupation for which they have been nominated.
Can anyone inform me how correct is that? Does this apply to an independent contractor or a proprietor of a company?
Can an independent contractor be sponsored for 186 direct stream

Made a mistake in the above message. Please read as "employer provided migration agent".
