That's pretty standard at the moment.
Applications for some occupations are moving very quickly (just had one approved in 2 days), while others seems to be on hold and not being processed.
Hospitality occupations seem to be the worst affected, with very little movement on applications lodged a long time ago.
Hi Paul ,
Is it possible some Agency to ask Immigrants give a statement why they holding 186visa hospitality so long like this.
If they doing this should've declared giving this visa to people who on the way achieve it earlier so people can choose different plan rather than suffer get stuck by this waiting game like this.

yes January 2020
Mine one also approve on February and been sitting until today. I think from hospitality sector we all should make petitions to sign regarding how this unfair treating us to not response this TRT 186. They should change this rule earlier if they decided to not giving us PR .

I feel your stress, guys The Department can probably ask for a confirmation of the employment, which you can upload without waiting the RFI (Request for Further Information) letter.
Only for professional occupation who can contribute pay more taxes will Grant now. For middle income nomination such as hospitality sector will be on hold until next year or when economy settle because they are paying less tax money so that no beneficial to Government give priority.

In what reason your company dont attend AAT for you ?

I think they will start this visa progress after end of Jobseekers/jobskeeper on 27 September. Because of the subsidy cost , they would not let more PR granted so to claim this money during this time.

Hi everyone,
I see on the home affairs website that the current timescale for 186 trt is now at 4-7 months. I applied back In January, completed medicals and criminal record checks shortly after. Now this is the sh*t that confuses me, does this mean I should get an answer soon? As I'm into the 4th coming on 5th month, or are those timescales from today onwards.. So im likely to hear in the next coming 4-7 months? Does anyone else have trouble with this, doesn't seem very clear. Cheers
Have your nomination been approved yet ?
