Finally I become Australian citizen Today . The virtual ceremony went for not even 5 minutes. It was simple and straightforward. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who helped with their experiences . I wish everyone all the very best for their respective journey .

I have just recieved my virtual ceremony Date for Tuesday 19/05/2020 . Just a quick question to people who had their ceremony done did you Guys just click on the join meeting link which is sent by Department at the time of meeting . I have downloaded the application just want make sure .

I had my Test on 12 sept and I’ve recieved test invitation on 14 August . My test date came for Feb but I went online and rescheduled my test date on available dates 

Yes I emailed them two weeks back and ask for virtual ceremony . I received automatic response next minute but recieved  invitation today . Please note I have not provide any compelling Reason .

you can do either way , can upload the actual photo or put it on A4 but do sign it at back off the photo . They are not fussy about photo it’s just for the Record .

My ceremony was also canceled which was scheduled for 17 March . I Guess they did it for everyone safety and well-being. I know it get frustrating sometimes because we all Waited this far but as I said it’s for everyone safety . Tc

Today I received an email from Department about cancelation of 17 March ceremony Hume council because of Coronavirus. They will schedule another ceremony. Bad luck I Guess .

Hi Guys 

Apparently had a long chat with the department about the wait time when I actually asked to open my file for address change For same council with in the processing time . And I learnt my invitation came 3 days after that .. so I don’t know it was luck or the  Differ in system processing .

Hahahahaha Guys you not going to believe this after writing this message I checked my email and I’ve received invitation . So it’s on 17th March at Broadmeadows Town hall .
