Thank you for the replay. As a restaurant manager not much movement which is unfair that they process other occupations faster and we are on the back side waiting which is crazy maybe they should mention in the 186 application that some occupations need to wait longer then others not just put over all 5-10 months processing period. But hopefully we get an answer soon.

Same here guys requested medical and pcc March 2020 still waiting

called twice to immigration every time said just wait. Too much hectic

    hi 👋🏾 all

i received my golden email this afternoon. So happy, took me  14 years. I arrived in Australia in 2006. Finish my studies and apply for pr in 2008 but my lawyer at that time disappear and my original documents he had in his office. I mean i lost my original documents. Than I applied mrt that took 4 years than i lost in mrt. Coz of mrt my wife were stuck in overseas  for 4 years. And applied off shore 457 and that was rejected, i applied again and luckily i got 457 in regional area. Anyway long story short i did not give up and finely After 14 years of struggle i got my PR.

JUST WANT TO SAY ONE THING

AT THE END IT WILL BE GOOD, IF ITS NOT GOOD ITS NOT THE END....

    good luck everyone

and thanks for your massive support

    Congratulations

    what is your timeline

    thank you

That is fair enough. The Department of Home Affairs is constantly shifting their processing priorities so cases can take longer to process without it meaning anything sinister. Averages are only averages and people fall outside of those estimates.

    Hi all,

I'm going to lodge my 186 visa application soon and hope to get some help here 🙂

My agent is requesting my employer to pay the training benchmark fee for the period when I'm holding 457 visa before the new SAF levy implemented (12/08/2018) in order to meet the SBS obligation.

However, my employer check with another agent  and they insisted that employer do not have to pay for the training benchmark fee for that period even though the SAF levy wasn't implement yet and what they need to do is just pay the SAF when I lodge my 186 visa application and nomination.

I really want to get everything right for my application but I am so confusing with that.

Do my employer need to pay the training benchmark for the time that I on my 457 to avoid nomination refuse?

Anyone have the same situation before? Please give me some advices. Thank you.

Yes definitely he needs to pay

    thank you.
