My wife has had to wait 6months to apply for registration, due to her degree not being listed. Once applied it’s been 9 weeks to ask for  further information. Same as Coxy7, they can’t find the certificate of good standing the NMC sent them or the international criminal check which were both sent electronically.

Thanks fo this I’ll pass it on. It’s a shame I’m an electrician, and hope to one day move to Tasmania

My wife is a diploma qualified nurse with over 15 years experience but only recently completed her degree when she became a sister. We are thinking of moving to Queensland on a 491. So I emailed Queensland immigration (BSMQ) and this was their reply:

Hi Dean

Any experience that was gained after receiving a qualification can be counted.

If she gets her skills assessment and AHPRA registration she would be fine.
