In my opinion, if your sister applies for a student visa and you become a sponsor the only quotation may arise if your sister is still dependent on your parents!

At the time of 143 visa application processing case officer will ask you to provide dependency evidence. If your sister financially relies on you and she does part-time work it may be a little harder to convenience the case officer that she is still eligible as a dependant.  I guess the best solution is to ask your parents to become sponsors and pay all the tuition fees and living costs for the duration of the study. Remember to keep those evidence as you can provide them as evidence to prove dependency. Also making sure she did not earn a full-time income at any period of time. otherwise, things may be a bit complicated in future! I always prefer to keep things simple and explainable.

    Thank youu 😊

  2. Hi,

Is there anyone in this group have applied visitor visa for parents and have no visa conditions 8558 (Cannot stay for more than 12 months in any 18 month period)?

If there is no 8558 conditions is my parents can stay in Australia for up to 12 months and going out of the country and be able to come back again and stay for 12 months?

The 2nd vac will be calculated as at the time u start apply 143. So if she is under 18 u just need to pay few $k ..... not ~$43k as adults

when u apply aos if she is still under 18, u dont need to do aos for her. But if she is over 18 at the time they ask for aos then u have to do another application of aos for her.

Thank you so much. Highly appreciate it!

    Hi,

if the dependent child is over 18 years old at the time they request further document & apply Aos then

yes,u do. because in 1 application of aos, there is maximum of 2 assurees and 3 assurers.

    Hi Milly,

    Thank you for your reply.

Also how old is she at the time of application? if  i apply for my sister when she was under 18, is the 2nd vac will be still count as dependent child under 18?
